**Inclement Weather**

Please follow these guidelines if questioning travel safety to a PPQG event due to inclement weather.

School District 11 announces a        2-hour delay:

  • PPQG General Meeting:  
    Meeting will be held as scheduled.  Members should travel at their own discretion.

  • PPQG Board Meeting:                  is cancelled.

  • Workshops:  Scheduled for that afternoon and the following day will be held as scheduled.

November Meeting!

Please read in full...

We are planning to hold a general meeting in November. This will of course be subject to change if Covid-19 restrictions are revised. 


As a reminder: the 2020 Holiday Brunch as been cancelled due to quarantine safety issues. 

The Challenge Quilts will be displayed at the November meeting, along with a short presentation.

The Challenge Quilts will be returned that day following the meeting.

A special thank you to all who participated in the 2020 Challenge. The quilts were all wonderful! 


We ask for your full cooperation in the following areas:

  • Please wear an appropriate face mask that covers both mouth and nose.

  • Please maintain  the recommended social distancing of at least 6 feet. 

  • Please use caution if you choose to eat or drink.

  • Please use the hand sanitizers that will be placed at convenient stations- especially after use of a tissue.  


Please do NOT attend if:

  • You have a fever or any cold or flu symptoms.

  • You have recently been exposed to anyone who is ill with fever or any cold or flu symptoms.

  • You have been exposed to a person who is currently positive or is being tested for Covid-19 regardless of presence of symptoms.

  • If for any reason you are not able to comply to the precautions listed above (ie-use of a mask, distancing and hand sanitizers)

  • You are not comfortable with the idea of a group meeting.

    • The Elks Lodge on N. Nevada

    • Presentations and meeting only...no workshops.

We will continue to consider holding meetings each month as it nears to determine current restrictions at that time.

Can You Help?

Preparations are already in motion for PPQG's Boutique Sale and Silent Auction at the 2021 Folk Art Festival.   Here is a list of items or skills desperately needed:

Long Arm Quilting: several quilt tops have been donated and are ready for quilting.


Domestic Machine Quilting: Some of the donated quilt tops are appropriate for regular machine quilting if you can help with that.

Wall hangings and Art Quilts are gladly accepted for the sale.
