Block of the Month

Welcome to our 2020 Block of the Month program!

To participate, just make a block. All blocks will be 12-1/2 inches (12 inches finished) and can be used in a variety of projects, for example: pillows, table
runners, dog mats, hangings, as well as various sized quilts. You can
make blocks for yourself or make them in red, white and blue (or any combination of red, white or blue) and donate them to be made into a Quilt of Valor.

Bring your block to the next guild meeting and sign in at the Block of
the Month table. Fill out a ballot and deposit it in the ballot box.
During the business meeting, we will select the winner of 4 fat
quarters! The winner must be present to win.

Every month you make a block you earn one chance for the end-of-year drawing for a jelly roll. In October, we will draw a name to determine who will win the jelly roll. You do not have to be present to win the jelly roll.

You are welcome to show your progress during Show and Tell so guild members can see what clever things you can make with sample blocks.

Note: There are no regular meetings and thus no BOM patterns in November or December.
