Community Projects

The Community (Charity) Quilts Committee is one of the most active in the guild.  Each year guild members make quilts to be donated to charitable organizations in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas.

The Committee often puts together very simple kits for members to pick up, make, and return at the next meeting.  The quilts, which are made individually by members, are brought to monthly PPQG meetings and turned in at the Charity Quilts table for eventual distribution around the region.

Please join us!  Even if you don't have a machine with you your time is greatly appreciated and there will be a job for you.

When:  Second and Fourth Wednesdays, 9:00am to 12:30pm.  You are welcome to come and go according to your own schedule.

Where:  Firestation 20 (near corner of Dublin and Rangewood) Community Room.
