December Board Meeting Information

Because the Elks Club is closed for a couple weeks, we have decided to do the December 2020 Board meeting virtually.

All Committee members:

Please communicate any business you may have to your committee Coordinator who will in turn report to the Board.

Details and link for the ZOOM meeting will be sent out on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 to the membership.

Please note all members are able to attend any PPQG Board Meeting, but via Zoom we will have a limited number of spots.

And remember: there is no General Meeting in December.

Thanks!

Sue McMullen, President 2021

Want to Create a

Round Robin Group?

Have you ever imagined yourself part of a Round Robin quilting group?  If so, now's your chance!

Last September we invited anyone interested in creating a new Round Robin quilting group to sign up.  We were able to create a group of 6 ladies and the group was immediately named "The Material Girls."

We now have a second group developing but we need 3, 4 or even 5 more ladies to sign up.

Send an email to:

ppquilt@gmail.com

We'll collect names of anyone who responds and put you in touch with each other via your email.  Then your group is on its own to create something amazing!

Can You Help?

Preparations are already in motion for PPQG's Boutique Sale and Silent Auction at the 2021 Folk Art Festival.   Here is a list of items or skills desperately needed:

Long Arm Quilting: several quilt tops have been donated and are ready for quilting.

Domestic Machine Quilting: Some of the donated quilt tops are appropriate for regular machine quilting if you can help with that.

Wall hangings and Art Quilts are gladly accepted for the sale.
