Quilts of Valor

We are fortunate to live in a community with a large Armed Forces presence.  Fort Carson Army Base to the south of Colorado Springs, the Air Force Academy to the north, with Cheyenne Mountain, Schriever Air Force Base and Peterson Air Force Base complete the circle.  ​

All our Colorado Springs Quilts of Valor are made by members of the Piecing Partners Quilt Guild and non members.  They are presented to recipients who have been nominated and whose service has met the QOV criteria.   ​

We are very proud of all our service men and women and are honored to award them with these special quilts, each one stitched with love, thankfulness and respect.

To nominate a veteran or service member to be considered for a Quilt of Valor, complete and return the Request for Veteran Recognition form to COS.QOV@gmail.com or bring it to a QOV member. The form is at QOV Recognition Request Form. You may also complete the nomination online through the national website at Nominations & Awards Quilts of Valor Foundation. Please be sure and mention the Colorado Springs QOV group by placing "#104201 Colorado Springs QOV" in the QOV group coordination question.
